Origins & settlement traditions

One oral-historical account documented in University of Ghana research associates Wiaga/Wiak with Awiak, a son of Atuga, who is said to have founded the Wiak chiefdom after the brothers dispersed from Atugapusik. Community custodians should review names, chronology and lineage detail.
